Living Social Dates- Spring 2012
For those that purchased the Living Social deal last summer but were unable to make the dates I had last year, I’ve got a couple more days this spring to use your Living Social voucher.
On Saturday, May 12, I’ll be holding sessions at St Anthony Main, and on Sunday, May 20, I’ll be at the Walker Sculpture Garden. Session times will be 8:30, 10:00, 11:30, 2:00, and 3:30.
Please email me with the day/location and time you’re interested in and we’ll get your session reserved! Also, please be sure to include your LS voucher number in the email.
I’ll update the Living Social page here on my site as times are reserved.
New Date Added for Living Social Deal
A last minute addition to the available dates for the Living Social deal… I’ve just added this Saturday, August 27, at St Anthony Main, to the schedule. I’ll just have the 3 morning slots available so email ASAP if you’re interested!

Wow. I can’t believe it’s almost been a month since my last post here! I guess I have the success of my Living Social deal to thank for keeping me that busy. The sessions have been a flurry of activity and I’m just now coming up for air.

After a couple months of prep (and waiting anxiously!) I am pleased to announce that DKP is being featured on LivingSocial St. Paul Families! The deal starts today and runs through Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Check it out!

Sculpture Garden Stroll
I just love it when sessions go as well as this one did! Mom, dad, 5 year old, J, and I took a tour of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden at the Walker Art Center, and nearby Loring Park, enjoying the scenery, sculpture, and each other’s company. Oh, and we happened to get a few great shots in between…
You Learn Something New Every Day…
I discovered a great new app for the iPhone the other day… Photosynth, from Microsoft! It’s an interactive panoramic photo capture and sharing app that you really have to try and see to believe! It takes several photos from the same scene and stitches them together (quite seamlessly), and publishes them online to share. Oh, and best of all, it’s free!
A Walk in the Park
Had a great session earlier this month with this beautiful family… they were so much fun, it was literally a walk in the park!

I had a great time with these two cute sisters a couple weeks ago! The rain kept us indoors, but there was still plenty of fun (and flowers) to be had!
You Learn Something New Every Day…
In terms of learning and growing in your field of practice, you can’t do much better than following one of your industry’s icons around for a couple days. This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending Audrey Woulard’s workshop in Chicago, IL. The list of things I learned would fill a book. But for the purposes of this post I’ll just say… Bring on the full mid-day sun!!!
